King Pottery Studio

Hi! My name is Kim King and I am a ceramics teacher, artist, cat mom, jiujitsu addict, and wife living in North Carolina. Since I was very young, art has been a passion of mine.

In college I took many art classes including painting, drawing, glass blowing, jewelry making, photography, and ceramics. It was when I first took a ball of clay and made something with it, that I fell in love. It's really amazing to take minerals from the Earth and create pieces that will last a lifetime, and can be used to drink your favorite coffee, or serve your amazing pie out of.

King Pottery opened in August of 2021, and I couldn't be more excited about it. I get to create with clay - everyday! I still get to enjoy my passion for teaching and now get the amazing opportunity to help people learn how to throw on the pottery wheel. It's such a fun experience and you too will be able to create masterpieces that will last a lifetime.
